Use of Went on in Hindi

Went on का प्रयोग  "भूतकाल में कोई काम जारी रहा"  यह दिखने के लिए करते है।   

Went on के स्‍थान पर हम Continued का प्रयोग कर सकते है किन्‍तु हमें इसके बाद To +V1 लिखना होता है।  
Went on के स्‍थान पर हम Kept का भी प्रयोग कर सकते है समान अर्थ में। 

Rule -

Affirmative Sentence:-

Subject  +  went on  + V1 + ing + Object

Subject  +  kept + V1 + ing + Object

Subject + continued + to + V1 + Object.

मैं पढता रहा। 
I went on reading.
I kept reading.
I continued to reading.

तुम लिखते रहेे। 
you went on writing.
you kept writing.
you continued to writing..

वे टीवी देखते रहे।

They went on watching tv.

They kept  watching tv.

They continued to watching tv.

हम दौडते रहे।

We went on running.

We kept  running.

We continued to running.

वह दौडता रहा।

He went on running.

He kept running.

He continued to running.

वह दौडती रही।

she went on running.

she kept running.

she continued to running.

Negative sentence:-

Subject  + did  not +  go on  + V1 + ing + Object

Subject  +did not + keep + V1 + ing + Object

Subject + did not  + continue + to + V1 + Object.

मैं पढता नहींं रहा। 
I did not go on reading.
I did not keep reading.
I did not continue to reading.

तुम लिखते नहींं रहेे। 
you did not go on writing.
you did not keep writing.
you did not continue to writing..

वे टीवी देखते नहींं रहे।

They did not go on watching tv.

हम दौडते नहींं रहे।
